Events at Tour-Ed

We Hold Community Events on Our Grounds Throughout the Year

Ira Wood Park
A beautiful 13-acre, on site park dedicated to the late Tour-Ed Mine & Museum Founder, Ira Wood. Our park stage features musical performances throughout the year and is available for parties. Enjoy your picnic lunch with friends and classmates under the trees. Schools may bring sports equipment for activities after lunch. A covered picnic pavilion is available at no charge, but we suggest you make reservations for your group prior to your scheduled visit date.

Allegheny-Kiski Historical Society's Fleatiques
The Ira Wood park also holds other events in Pittsburgh. The Allegheny-Kiski Historical Society's Fleatique is open the third Sunday of the month, May through October

We hold family events in Pittsburgh at our facility. Contact us for more information and scheduling for your next unique family reunion, birthday party or group event.
