The Most Frightening Haunted Attraction is Back!
Louis W. Hicks was the abusive owner of the most dangerous and illegal mining company of the Gilded Age in the late 1800s. A wealthy, unscrupulous businessman who collected items displaying opulence and class — including human beings.
Hicks' macabre fascination with the occult, ritual voodoo ceremonies, and the black arts plunged his mind and soul into complete and merciless darkness. He sought dangerous convicts, the mentally deranged, and the poorest individuals for slave labor and experiments. Many perished, and their restless spirits remain.
The shaft has been reopened by those desperately searching for missing family and friends still roaming the deep shafts of The Haunted Mine. Visitors gather on dark nights — specifically Fridays, Saturdays, and select Sundays — from late September through early November.
