Getting Here

Tour-Ed Mine is located just 20 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh. Take Route 28 North to Exit 14 (Tarentum). Follow the signs to 748 Bull Creek Road.

Free parking — plenty of room for cars, vans, and school buses
Picnic pavilion — free to reserve, bring your own food
Restrooms — available at the museum and near the pavilion
Accessibility — the museum and above-ground areas are accessible. The underground mine requires stepping into low-sitting mine cars. Call us at (724) 224-4720 to discuss specific needs.
Pets — for your pet's safety, we do not permit pets underground
